Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American singer, actress and music producer. Her mother raised her in the USA and she was subject to numerous racial slurs that left her feeling like an unwanted person. In her 9th year that she started to feel more confident following her acclaim in an audition. This not only increased her confidence but was also a change in the direction in which she went on to pursue her professional career. At the age of 22 she was a graduate of New York's Julliard School. She started her professional journey at age 23 with Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and the film You've Got Mail. The most notable success of her career came in the role of The Lady of The Lake on Spamalot's original Broadway production. She did not only receive the Tony Award, but her performance was also praised by critics. Following that she was cast in the role of Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gaining wider fame. An accomplished singer She has also recorded songs as well as an extensive work. Also, she's been an advocate for LGBT issues.
