Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler June 28, 1986. She had a turbulent childhood. She was abandoned by her mother when she was only two years old to avoid an abusive relationship. Her return to her life in 1995 and took custody of her. But it didn't go well. Pickler was then 12 years old and was sent back to her parents by the justices. They took care of her till she became an adult. Pickler, in the absence her parents and her older siblings, became too busy in school to pursue studies. Pickler admitted that she had no time to study and started learning how to make a living as a homemaker as a child. Pickler participated in the cheerleading squads at both her high school as well as middle school.
